Thule Foot Packs and Fit Kits
Thule foot packs and Thule fit kits are the components required to safely attach a Thule roof bar to a vehicle. Depending on the vehicle make and model, both a foot pack and fitting kit may be required for proper attachment. Some models however, may simply just need a foot pack.
Foot Packs
Foot packs consist of 4 ‘feet’. These feet need to be attached to the roof bar and then secured to the vehicle. Attaching the feet is a simple process and should only take a few minutes to complete. Thule supply many different foot packs to fit different types of roof bars and vehicles. It is important you choose the correct foot pack for your vehicle and roof bar model.
Fit Kits
Some vehicles require both a foot pack and a fit kit. While some foot packs can be attached directly to the vehicle, others require the help of a fit kit for a secure connection. Fit kits secure the foot pack to the vehicle. As with foot packs, it is essential that only the correct fit kit is used to secure the foot pack.

Tips for a safe and secure fit

• Thoroughly clean and dry your vehicle before fitting
• Once fitted, give the roof bar a good shake to ensure a secure fit
• When loading the roof bar, take care not to exceed the weight capacity and ensure weight is evenly distributed
Some foot packs and fit kits include additional features like torque sensors and automatic locking for an even safer fit.
